The Investigator
Former FBI — five years with the Behavioral Analysis Unit at Quantico, profiling serial predators under the National Center for the Analysis of Violent Crime. A case went sideways and he walked. Now 38, 6'2", 220 pounds of functional mass with a wrecked right shoulder and a garage office in Dry Creek. Works the Thumb when his ex-brother-in-law Deputy Tom "Hendo" Henderson needs someone who isn't bound by red tape. Views crime scenes as failed systems—he's not looking for clues, he's looking for the broken part. Drives a black F-150 Lariat. Carries a Glock 19 but draws it last.
